Built in 2010, this was a screen porch, which was converted to a three-season room. The existing footing and roof were maintained and we used siding to match the house. The floor, walls and ceiling were insulated and high efficiency casement windows were added. Though not intended for all year use, a space heater was added to extend the season. The tile and painted wainscoting help give a light summery feel to the room. The cathedral ceiling, covered with cedar, adds an open feel to the space.
